Pdf to word and excel : Somewhat simple way

                       If you want to change a pdf , containing both the text and tables, how to edit by copying to the word . We know that we could edit pdf text in word, by selecting text tool and you could easiy copy to the word document and edit it . But what about the tables in pdf. If you try to copy the tables, it will be not easy to do so. For it will take a straight line data with jumbled words, there by doing our task a little more tough. If the table contains more rows and column, then it makes the task even tougher.
If  suppose, you are using adobe acrobat reader, then you are lucky that it will do the conversion immediately as per your need. Now the OCR technology developed in such a way, even scanned pdf could be editable in text format. But these softwares are not freely available. They will allow free download but that will only convert 3 rows and 2and columns. If you want to convert , a whole then you must pay for it, without knowing how the software will behave. I do not want to go further in to it. 
But there is a way and work around for this . All you need is acrobat earlier version5.0 , which is freely available. Nowadays, adobe reader does not have column select tool which was available then. So all will work only if you pay them even without know the intricacies of the software you are using. The earlier version is freely available in this link . you could as well download , this to select column tool.

Version 5.0.5 please mostly downloaded. If compatibility issue raises, then just go to the program icon, click properties, and select compatibility tab, there  you select your pc os and tick in as administrator in the same tab. If any message, comes choose run program.
                Then coming to our working. First of all, the table will consists of row and column , the row contains the item and the column, the data. Leave aside the text. The data is very important and time consuming typing work. So, select the column by moving  the select column tool bar , available with the earlier version and then copy the same to a word. This is important to avoid retyping of data by manually typing. While selecting the data , the top of the column, the heading should also be selected.
                  Now if we paste this to a word file , it will be showing like this with paragraph ending mark, shown in show hide bar. Let us make further progress w

                  Now , what we have to do is to get the tab at the correct place. For this, you have to select all the data pasted , and then  use the show hide button. If you click on the show button, it will show the exact stature of data, where the end of each row and column is located in the table. Now, the data will be looking like this.

Select all the data now and go to find and replace menu in the HOME tab. In the find box , please leave one space by space bar, and then in the replace box  type ^t, to give the tab mark in the table. Now the table will look like this.

        Next thing to do is to select all the data again, go to insert menu and click the table  bar at the bottom, there is an option to convert text to table menu. You please click this menu and you get a dialog box, which you can ok to get the table format for the data. Just add the column and the row headings by typing manually, without typing the data.  Then use the toggle show and hid switch to hide. This has accomplished our taskThis look  as though a tough task, but considering freely available instead of buying ocr softwares to convert the same. I find most of the otherprograms except some prominent ones, does not give quite clearly. You have to make the adjustments there also. But this will be in a way save your money and you could accomplish what you want. The data if retyped, must again be scrutinized for correctness. This problem you  could remove .You could also copy this to an excel sheet and add the  texts in row and column, which is very easy if you know the spread sheet and you could enhance further by including columns and row, formula etc and then paste in to your document
