A reliable joiner for flv files really cool tool
« on: March 13, 2013, 01:28:33 AM »
Hi,      After surfing the net , i came across this tool, Andy flv joiner, a cool tool to merge any number of flv files to one merged file without loosing the quality and audio. I tried a lot of tools , which is available in give away of the day, and other tools such as reputed. Either it is priced higher and involves limited conversion or merger. A tool for eg would only allow merger of 2 files of limited size. Not only that, it will take hours together to merge those files, as it will show side by side video progress and processes. If interrupted by power cut, then the process has to be started afresh.
But this tool is a marvellous one at that it is very simple , all you have to do is to download this tool and then add flv files one by one, prefered to maintain the serial, then press the "Join" button and that is all. Your flv files numbering so many will be merged in a matter of 5 to 10 minutes and no loss of audio or video. Everyone really have to thank the Author of this program, who has taken much effort to give this awesome free tool . Once you use it, you will never go for any other tool, that is for sure.

The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".

Hi,  Shane,     Ok i admit that the above software is having a bug or i do not know to do this.
Once merging the videos thro, joiner, if clicked to play, it plays the first file of the merged file and then the status bar comes back to the beginning. You understand the problem. If suppose, i go to the status bar to move to the second file and it started from the point where you put the status bar/mark/button. But after the second file of the merger one finishes, it goes to the beginning of the play.
So, one has to watch the timings and then move the status button of the media classic player, (which i have, as per your recommendation, a special one) to go to the next stage of the movie or video.
I would request you to give any solution for the above. As we are merging, the file gets merged and not the consequent sequence
The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".

Hi, Even after posting about the error, i surfed the net still further. The problem appeared to be solved. Is this correct to have default in the settings ? Please tell . The error did not occur and it plays continuously . The problem is solved. I have chosen this flv joiner for its quick merging. If you try to merge with sophisticated and paid one, you will end up by 2% at the end of 45 minutes. Wowre wow. Thanking you for your advice on the looping. I have become some what dizzy that i could not play the merged files part continuously / Thanks once again for the valuable advice.

The Solution is mainly applicable to windows 7 users and for xp, drivers update is possible and it worked smoothly with out any error But when i switched my os to windows 7, this problem cropped up.
             The soution:

Go to view menu, select options  go to Playback, and then to OUTPUT and set default for all the settings from the top and the problem goes out smoothly. I could not attach a screen shot , as print screen only prints the words in it with out the graphics etc.

The print screen problem has also solved. Thank you

Hi,   In continuation of my post, i wish to add that by making last remember dvd, windows, file positions in the media player menu in the view- options- menu, you could easily play the merged flv file to play continuously . I checked it and it worked for me. The movie starts from where we left in the last session.
Thank you shane for recommending media player classic. The flv joiner tool i prescribed is really fast.

Default settings are always good as long as they work for you. If having the defaults, and it is working fine then you should be good

Idealshare VideoGo is the best choice for merging FLV files, which can join several FLV files into one FLV or directly join FLV into one MP4, merge FLV to MP3, merge FLV to AVI, merge FLV to MOV, MPG, DV, MKV, H.265, WebM.
