Title: The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs a
Post by: Ironic_8b49 on February 24, 2012, 04:11:54 am
After running the Advance Mode iTunes gives me this error, "The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing." everytime when I start iTunes up. I have followed all the instructions from Apple to fix this error and it still is doing it. Yes I have un-installed:
1.iTunes
2.QuickTime
3.Apple Software Update
4.Apple Mobile Device Support
5.Bonjour
6.Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Then reboot PC and then verified it was not running and files were deleted, like it said in the how to un-install iTunes from Apple.com next step is to replace the registry change your program did to fix this error.

Never seen that error myself.

Did you fully uninstall itunes, reboot and then reinstall it?

I've had this problem before with iTunes. This should fix it, but follow instruction to a "T" since it involves registry settings.

This will give you the drivers you need and tell you how to enable them.  I haven't needed this since I upgraded to iTunes 10 though. Hope all goes well.
