Tweaking.com - Registry Backup v3.0.0 (portable)
Superfast, nice work Shane
-
Thanks :-)
That took me HOURS using a tool to go through my code and find unused code and also improve some of my code I already had in there. It made a big difference and I plan on doing it to my windows repair and tech toolbox when i get the chance :-)

But I would assume that unused code doesn''t slow down a program. :undecided:
-
Actually it does. All the apis, variables and all that take memory, and the less it has to do the faster it loads.
Even MS explains it here :-)

Hi!
starting with this version I've noticed silent run shows for a moment the main form,is that normal?
thanks!
-
Depends how you have it set. It will run and show its self and then close, run minimize and the close or be totally hidden. Which way do you have it set?
Shane
-
Hi,it is set to Hidden but after I open computer I can see it doing the backup then close, that wasn't in previous versions
thanks
-
Ok I will test it out and see if I can replicate it. If I can then I will get it fixed :-)
