Aaahhh, that clears it up Shane.  I didn't go down all the way to the bottom of the page and just downloaded the newest update through majorgeeks.  Thanks for your rapid response.

Hi,

I've been doing weekly manual registry backup with your wonderful program.  Today I noticed that an update was announced and thus updated to the latest version.

After doing a manual registry update today I checked the total MB used per date and noticed that the latest version 1.6.0 is showing a total of 128 MB while the previous backups are showing about 85 MB. 

Question I have is this.  Why has the total in MB increased by 43 MB?  No changes or new software programs etc. were added by me to justify the increase.   Were there any changes made by you?  Hope you have an answer to that.  TIA!

That's what I thought.  It was posted on Wilders Scurity Forum.  I did already make a post on Wilders (Hitman Pro) thread regarding this.  Just waiting their reply. 

PS: I downloaded RegBack, scanned with Avast! free and MBAM free and these scans were clean.

Thanks Shane,

Too bad that I also deleted the existing ERDNT files that were created by ERUNTgui when I deleted its software.  I checked out the Windows Repair on your website and i's video but don't see any reference to the ability to run erunt in Windows Repair (All In One)  I trust that your Registry Backup will do it's job.  It was just curiosity about the size difference, that's all, so I'll leave it at that.   

PS:  Yes, I saw all the profiles listed in the list of RegBack.

Thanks for getting back to me Shane.   

Just a thought.  I just remembered doing all ERUNTgui backups by having ticked the *all users* box.  Perhaps that could be the reason for the discrepancy in MBs between the 2 software since I don't see any option for that in your Registry Backup?   Is that plausible?     

Too late to run ERUNTgui now for me to compare it by doing the default style (without the *all users*) since I deleted it prior to installing the Registry Backup and won't reinstall it anymore.

Thank you Shane for all the info provided.  Just made a manual registry backup with your Registry Backup and I find it awesome!! 

I remember ERUNT being over 120 MB yet RegBackup is about 83 MB?  No clue why it's less MB as I used RegBackup at default settings.

Hi,

Saw on MajorGeeks your new software and would like to install it after I have a few questions answered.

1.  Scheduling:  I want to use your Registry Backup only on a manual basis.

Do I have to untick the boxes for the shown automatic scheduling feature? 
Do I have to take out the 30 day shown scheduled backups as well?   
Do I just have to click on Backup Now to do a manual backup?
 
2.  Can I delete manually all old backups in Reg\Backup?
3.  If necessary, can I create additional manual registry backups on the same day?

Win 7 - 64 bit and I am a Noob.  Oh and I have currently ERUNTgui on my PC.
