Sometimes the mouse cursor or the video control, doesn't disappear when switching to full screen video, it can be an issue with YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook videos and/or other video sites.

AutoHideMouseCursor
can be the solution.

AutoHideMouseCursor
is a small portable Windows application that allows you to hide the mouse cursor, if this does not move.

Shane, do you have any statistics on how many times that "Tweaking.com - Windows Repair (All in One)" have been downloaded? Feels like the program is popular!  :)

Program & Site Requests / Clean Boot program for Windows Repair?
« on: August 13, 2014, 12:42:49 AM »
Would it be possible to make a "Clean Boot" program that scan which 3rd party programs are starting at startup and disable them all automatically and reboot?  Then you're finished in the clean boot state you just start the program again and you click enable and reboot.

General & Misc. / The Heartbleed Bug
« on: April 10, 2014, 05:59:56 AM »
I was wondering about the heartbleed bug if this website uses OpenSSL?

http://heartbleed.com/

I checked here http://filippo.io/Heartbleed/#tweaking.com and the result was: "All good, tweaking.com seems fixed or unaffected!"

Would it be possible to add (Solved) to title because I know many people that google they first look at pages that have (solved) in the topic description.

Program & Site Requests / Registry Backup question/request
« on: April 02, 2014, 12:22:39 AM »
In Registry Backup would it be possible to show the registry hive size in the tabs "Backup Registry" and "Restore Backup" or might it confuse people with too much information? and everything looks messy? If possible I think show the size in KB would be best, the size is perhaps always is in KB so it goes without saying.  ;)

I have only some minor text and color suggestions!

1. The button "Get Hardware" is a bit confusing to me, it sounds like that I'm going to download driver from internet or something like that.
Maybe "Display Hardware", "List Hardware" "Show Hardware" or "Refresh List" is ok?

2. If I click on "Show All Hardware" or "Show All Hardware Except Standard System Devices" I get exactly the same result (Total Hardware found: 74), should it be so?

3. Also in "Improve Database" instead of "Get Hardware" maybe it could say: "Scan your Hardware" or "List your Hardware"

4. Then I check for updates the text are green there it says: "Update Available: No", maybe the text could be red if there is no update and then there is an update, the text could be green?
Or the text "Update Available:" could be in a more neutral color and only the text: "No" could be in red and "Yes" in green color?

Fantastic program and everything worked . I tried it on Win7 64-bit.
I like that I can copy 8 different list columns. Also that I can search for Drivers by Name and HardwareIDs.
It's also nice that I can click on the columns to sort the list.

IObit Uninstaller runs the application's default uninstaller, after which it  lets you run a Powerful Scan which runs through the hard drive and registry, looking for anything the uninstaller may have left behind. The results are then shown as a tree of files and registry entries which you can manually mark for deletion, since IObit won't automatically delete anything for you (Picture 1)

Remove browser plugins.  Each supported web browser contains various components, such as extensions, Browser Helper Objects (BHOs) and ActiveX items that you can remove. (Picture 2)

Forced Uninstall. This feature allows you to remove leftovers of programs that are already uninstalled, incomplete installations and uninstall remnants of programs!
Forced Uninstall is a good solution when you have to remove partially installed programs, partially uninstalled programs, and programs not listed as installed at all. (Picture 3)

RegScanner is a small utility that allows you to scan the Registry, find the desired Registry values that match to the specified search criteria, and display them in one list. After finding the Registry values, you can easily jump to the right value in RegEdit, simply by double-clicking the desired Registry item. You can also export the found Registry values into a .reg file that can be used in RegEdit.

RegScanner utility display the entire search result at once, so you don't have to press F3 in order to find the next value.
