Hi, Try the solution in microsoft or otherwise, pl approach the linked site and raise your problem. You could get a nest fix. Only Experienced programmer would be able to solve the issue.
            In my last thread, i advised you to try microsoft fix otherwise, better reinstall windows again.

Hi, I really do not much about the tools in the link. I just wanted to try and help you. Have you tried microsoft fix. It is a good thing to attempt. otherwise, I would suggest you raise the question to the person, who has given  the solutions in the link. It was one to one , question and reply and so many tools, which only an expert programmer would advise. I sincerly hope that your problem would be solved. So only in my last post i suggested that reinstall will be the best thing.

Hi, if microsoft fix works and it related to only permission, I will be happy that your problem would be fixed. But the second fix is havig so many downloads and results. For that i would rather prefer a new install

Hi, Have you tried any  new custom desktop display. What is your operating system. If you choose adifferent desktop display, then there is possibility of loosing colur default display. If you restore to the normal desktop display, then your problem would be solved. I do not know. I had this problem and once i reset the default windows desktop, my problem got solved.

Hi, little bit confusing for me, If i migrate by accepting this program access, then will it be able to boot. If it is not so, then there is nothing new. I have asked at you regarding back up, and i was informed that only system drive files , could be backed up and not the os from the booting.
          For academic and also safety , is suppose BSOD happens and nothing could be done, one has to format and reinstalll the windows. But numerous programs, what  one would have downloaded would also get formatted and you have to install again after installing the windows. Will it be possible to restore the entire c disk with all the downloaded programs, sir, shane.
           Would I request you to include a tab , where i could find all my posts , answered , started , posted everything so that i could easliy access the older threads and continue my discussion on it rather than starting a new thread. Could i reopen a locked thread, sir, shane.

Hi, Today Give away of the day site gives this paragon migrate os to ssd software free of cost. When i open it says it will erase all the data on the target folder, and hence request to back up the data. It will only take the OS to ssd and not the data on dynamic drives. Please let me know how for it is useful. I do not know much about this. When i asked regarding back up data, it was informed that only data on the system, not os could be backed up. But what about this software. It is only available till 1.30 indian standard time in give away of the day. How to use it. If suppose, i copy the data to a external pendrive, will it be bootable. I have just downloaded and activated but not used it. I want others comments on that.

hi, Shane , the audio recording and playback solved with the latest download of audio drivers from realtek com. Lots of thanks to them for making available audio drivers for windows 7 only recently, when the older model of famous intel, has stopped interactive and download support for some of the older model audio drivers supplied along with mother board. i just plugged in mike and audio jack as usaul for any other computer and opened audacity. The settings , i will send to users of this forum for win 7 users.
I am also enclosing a pdf file which gives best help in recording everything thro audacity. Thanks Samson and Shane for their continued support in finding ways and means.

Hi, Nice posts both by Samson and Shane. You have enclosed your preferences. I have realtek card, issued with mother board cd by intel. They do not support now. The sound for other songs play well that means there is no defect in sound settings. Next, the link i gave you relates to the older versions of the audacity software and hence the edit and preferences menu differ in the new version. I have downloaded the latest drivers for realtek from its own source , especially new one for win 7 and vista, presuming that the issue would have been taken to their notice. No reply so far from audacity forum.
        Samson, i want your opinion on the settings i will insert the mike in mme as usual. Regarding creative sound blaster, shall i choose the realtek,  (Will it not take automatically when plugged in the correct socket). I do get  the same settings of sound in my realtek main screen). I selected the 2 stereo speakersStill recording could not be done . I have done all the updates from microsoft .

 I have gone through the link posts and tried all sort of things, but still could not come to a conclusion, which method i should use to record. Could you please say that stereo mix should be enabled or not. Please kindly let me know the settings, for audacity 2.0.3 version. I aslo saw a youtube video, but the menu, in the Edit, preferences it shows , are not present in my edition. I know that you are using xp, there i had no problem. I installed the latest drivers from original realtek, as intel has stopped support services for my mother board model. I have now got stereo mix everything, how to set it to get the sound. Should the mik be inserted for mike jacket or line in the green one for recording. Secondly, if you could send some screen shots as in the link, i will be happy.I know your sound card may be different. But my system has realtek soundcard, which i used for xp, but which is not getting reflected in the sound card details.

Hi, Shane, I have gone through the net and found it is a service. How it be stopped automatically when the default setting is automatic and i did not meddle with the services entries in the services.msc. Could any virus or third party trojan would have stopped this services. I was thinking of replacing the cd drive, when i chanced upon this solution. Please your comments. i checked the event viewer for these problematic days and found that device cd rom has a bad block. Should that mean , that i have to replace the cd drive itself or cleaning would be enough. I am using this cd drive for more than 7 years. Is there any simple way of cleaning it. Just removing and cleaning the dust .

Hi, If you could give some more details. Dont you find your cd drives in the windows explorer or in my computer when you explore. Hey exactly what is the problem in real? What is meant by burning tab missing. Do you want to burn cd and your cd drive not responding? if the cd drive stops blinking, and shows nothing, then this is a case of recognition problem. Please tell me clearly what is the problem, so that i could share my views on that . I am now meddling with cd dvd issues right now.

Hi,,thank you for response. But i find no creative blaster and all that. I did downloaded drive from 4shared.com. In windows 7, you donot get information as quick as xp. I think the xp is the best microsoft system os. It helps all other softwares unlike windows 7. Coming to your point, i did go through their options in windows 7 , and it is a little bit confusing, they say stereo mix  and all that which i could not find in windows 7 driver updates automatic. Even sound card particulars are not clear in windows 7. If we go the device manager and sound, then there is one driver and it is high definitiion audio driver and that the software driver owner is microsoft. There is no stereo mix, which audacity forum says is a must. What to do

Hi, Shane, my dvd again gave me problem of ejecting when i try to click open data dvd. I tried your and microsoft fix for the same. But i could not make any progress. Once i insert the cd , the light goes out and nothing happens. I tried all the registry fix supported by microsoft but no cure. Atlast, in one of their replies, it was said that "net start shellhwdetection" may solve my problem. The command solved the problem and i could read the drive.  By what this  command is connected with cd or dvd. Please tell, if this is also concerned, then you could improve the cd dvd fix. I surfed the net, but could not get the meaning. pl tell

Is there anything wrong in the settings that i miss , shane, sir, . I receive about 8 to 15 emails daily. So there should be some numbers in the email scanned instead of 0. pl

Hi, I attach the settings iget when i open the audacity in windows 7s. There was no problem in xp os regarding this software. But the problem is what should be the settings to be adjusted to get the recording done. I am hearing other musics thro the speakers. But recording in windows 7, i do not get any graphic stream that you mentioned , Previously it was bluish graph. Now i am getting some green graphic stream movements, when i record, but no sound.

hI, i am using audacity for free recording thro mike, my songs and playback for improvements. it was fine working in windows xp, but in windows 7 , i could not record, the recording process is being shown, but when playback no sound heard. I have tried to install realtek audio drivers from the web, but it shows stereo mix and some extra fittings. The default settings have been maintained. But i could not hear sound.
       The other music thro mpc is playing without any problem. Would you pl give some solution, sir,

Instead of giving link, if he explains the problem, the killer virus, then some body in the forum could focus. From the link, it appears that he has already tried combo fix etc. I also got a fitting reply from you, sir, when i say that you could include a fix of warning registry entries in the registry. Your program first of all advise creating of restore point, cleaning of system  by malware bytes, ccleaner before actual run of the program

hi, Tomas,  i have tried iobit. but it is a cumbersome process, which will by mistake delete the system file.Even revouninstaller has free tool , to force delete the items. i have a doubt, will the iobit will find funmoods ,babylon etc. I do not think so. i have tried so many uninstallers and come to the conclusion that revo uniinstaller is the best. it will boldly show, the items which we are deleting, and get confirmation formally to delete the same. Even traces will be deleted in the next boot. if you go through the manual, it has all a free uninstaller. it does not pop up unwanted menu and to me this is a reliable one. no hijacking in to the system, cool and effective at free of cost. Do not think , that i am canvassing for the same pl
