Hi, Oscar,  my best bet would be the same. It does the thing very neatly if you choose complete uninstall including registry, the last menu in the opening screen . Only the minus point, it does not show some programs which tend to hijack your browser in its face. If it is , then you could uninstall anything without any damage to the computer. I have given useful tips about this in the main forum, under useful tips. I use this free version.

hi,  Shane, Thank you . What is meant by corrupt cookies, is it capable of blocking an email account. please tell. moreover, What google say for this error page, ' please log in  after 30 seconds. This could only be said'. A powerful google engine depicts a computer man, having screws and bolts not tidied up, and fixed is the posture. Fortunately, i immediately went for Google help. I thought some thing, the delta search bar crept in to the internet explorer 10 somehow and it does all the things. it would not even allow you to access the internet. Showing its browser, as if it is IE , this would ask you, that if you want to choose this as your search engine and if you select then thats all. Everything corrupts, It shows dns error and i could not still log in to IE. This is one more like funmoods, babylon etc.beware of this. Thank you

Oh, my god the problem was solved. No tool would work. But this worked for me
   In the Folder Option,in General tab in navigation pane, you have to select to show all folders. Then only this cd drive would show its head. Thanks all. There are so many threads in the google search for this simple thing, but evasive answers to microsoft fix, chkdsk, sfc scannow etc. Oh, what a funny to learn from self experience. I myself tried and it worked

Pl see the enclosed file. the drive is shown as g in the computer view, where as in window explorer view, the drive g is missing.

                   The link suggested by shane contains all the OS. It is your choice that counts.If you want to get the iso for windows 7 ultimate, then go to the specified link and download. Iso file is boot supported and you could totally format, your present OS drive, by choosing customized installation to install the required OS. You could copy the files other than system files to other drives. After installing all the required files, be sure to  download, antivirus and other software to check virus and trojan malwares.

Hi, Shane, sir, i resolved this error by going to googles help, It is not google server error sir. It has asked me step by step by solution, to know the exact cause.
    When it asked to remove the cookies cache, wow, i could log in to my account.Thank you. I have checked my emails with neighbor computer, before i raised this issue. Shane , sir, could cookies would prevent access to emails.

So , my problem is genuine and i want the solution, sir. I had also noted that when i insert pendrive the system assigns a drive letter +2 instead of +1. For eg, instead of g it gives h. What has happened. it is quite interesting to know of the things, that vanishes before your eyes, like magic. What is the solution. I tried your registery tool for cd dvd missing, still could not find my drive.
           I have tried sfc /scannow and also chkdsk /r/f

Hi, Shane, This has started to day when  i log on to the computer. When i try to access the gmail , i got an error message that it is temporary problem. and i need to log in after 30 seconds. I tried and tried but could not access my gmail. I  installed gmail notifier, and from it , i could see the mail headings, but could not access the gmail. How to get the help from gmail. Pl help. I am experiencing this strange problem only today.

Hi, I could able to write and read. That is not the problem. Is your cd drive shown in your windows explorer when there is no cd  in the drive.
     In my computer, this is not shown as a available drive. But when i double click the computer, it shows the drives, including the cd.
      When i insert a pendrive, it shows in the xplorer, and when eject, it vanishes. Like wise, when i insert a cd , then it shows and disappears, when i eject the same.
         I want to know whether this is a default windows 7 settings.

hi, Shane the problem is just the opposite. It does not show up when there is no cd or dvd in the drive.But in double clicking the computer, it is showing up as dvd rw drive. I ask is this normal in windows 7. I used your tool to fix the cd or dvd missing or not working . Even then the problem persists. So i enclosed the screenshot for your reference.

                   I think your computer does show the cd drive even when there is no cd or dvd in there. I tried microsoft fix it also.
                   When i insert a cd. it shows in the windows explorer, other wise not. Is this normal

Hi,
           In the xp os, the cd drive will be showing up, even when the cd or dvd is not there in the drive. Will the same be show up in windows 7. Moreover, when i tried trouble shooting hardware and devices, i get the message, that "hard ware changes might not have been detected" with an exclamation mark. What does this denote.

Hi,   I presume that you would have deleted the csl files while uninstalling the avg. It would have poped up some message, that you want to delete the no use file and you could have ticked yes.

HI, barryman,  The answer from Shane is pinpointed and you could safely delete all the versions from your pc and then install the latest from the microsoft. The newest version, will contain the features of all the previous versions with the improved updates in the software. So, it is better suggested, that you uninstall all and reinstall the new one. Your problem will be solved.

Hi, Please see this link. It will probably solve your issue. But you have to copy the files to the winsxs directory, the missing files from another computer having the same os, and same configurations.

But before copying, pl veryfy, if there is f alone and fix is not in the lines in your csi errors. You need to copy the files, which do not have fixes only. For others, you need not copy. Shane, am i correct

Your tool shows network traffic send spped and rec speed , which is around 33 kb per second. Is that the speed provided by the service provider or the download provider. Because, when i downloaded from some other sites, it shows about 67 kb per second. Is the download speed is determined by the downloader server or the service provider. Is the speed normal. I have opted for unlimited downloads, and my speed test at my service provider, a little 300 km away from my area shows 60 to 70 kbs. I am asking because, the download traffic, that is person who would have opted the same file as download, would reduce the speed at my end. A little clarification please , shane, sir

If a email is given, i will send it thro gmail. The file size is about 2 m.b. size. I want to help. my friend has given me the link which barryman could not download. I could download. Hi, You could safely remove all the instances and keep the latest one . It is always best. and i add one more suggestion. One of my friends suggested the following try this also
(Try to start System Restore vom within ISO /bootable USB or DVD. So it helped me one time. )
Shane, I want your idea on the above, as i am not a programmer. I will try to get the exact meaning of the above in my next post

Hi,  It is meant you uninstall all the versions from the computer. And then go to the microsoft to install the latest applicable net frame work to your operating system. There is no harm in this try. You are uninstalling and reinstalling. Thats it . The net work you have got installed may be due to some programs downloaded needs those version.

Hi, I also suggest the same. Yesterday i found that network frame from microsoft may give this problem. I suggest , that you uninstall all the net frame work in your computer by suggested tool by Shane, and then reinstall the latest one from microsoft. I hope it will fix the problem.
