Your program caused some issues.....
« on: August 07, 2015, 09:21:21 am »
Windows 7 Ultimate x64...
MMC Class not registered, and now my audio is just gone. "This computer cannot play audio because the windows audio service is not enabled." I hit yes to that box and nothing changes. I cannot get to services.msc because the class not registered error appears.

This is from running your tool last night on your newest version 3.4.0.

Please help me fix this :/ I tried registering dlls and had no luck fixing this issue.

PS your verification system is extremely annoying. The colored letters is completely wtf. Just to make a post, seriously?

Okay so the program is 95 percent registry related you can easily revert to a registry backup another thing is have you tried running the repairs twice in safe mode?

What method do you guys use to revert back to the old registry backup it creates?

I have not tried using it in safemode yet. I'll do that right now. Thanks :)

I had my AV uninstalled well before this point. Definitely not AV related. Trying to get windows 10 on this pc. Thats the only reason I removed my AV. When I did have av, it was bit defender.

What drivers do you have installed on your computer? Have you tried to update them?

Try running the repairs a 2nd time in safe mode, a lot of times that is the trick depending on the system.

Other times things go crazy because of a bad sector on the drive or something else. But thankfully just restoring the registry to before the repairs will have it back to where it was :-)

So just open the registry tool from the program, then click on the restore tab, choose the last registry backup in the list since it should have been the first one it made and then click restore and then reboot.
