tweaking.com envelope printer v2.0.1
« on: September 26, 2016, 08:28:59 am »
I had to reload my pc due to hard drive failure.
i was running windows 10 (upgrade)
now i am running windows 7 pro
I am using a brother hl-5470dw

prior to the reload every thing worked great, but now when i set the correct envelope it doesn't print the envelope properly.
the bottom of the envelope is printing in the middle of the page and the address (to) is printing the bottom line in the upper right corner????
see attachment

Can't give you an answer yet on the envelope problem but if you want to go back to Win 10 free then you can use the UPGRADE NOW in https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/accessibility/windows10upgrade?tduid=(14c348e893a91089cb2980533c6ee123)(256380)(2459594)(TnL5HPStwNw-0FBZfNm6YPFXNhiu3o52rA)() and see if that resolves the problem, although it should have worked in Win 7.

I've upgraded two Win 7 machines this week using this.

I put your exact details into the program on my Win 10 Home and while the return address was a bit high on the left side, it was only printing half of the recipient's details, so I'll pass this onto Shane.

This was printed on a sheet of A4 so all of the details should have been there.

Why do you have so many spaces in the address? Get rid of the spaces and then in the print preview mode click on the check to enable the grid and then double click where you want the address and the program will adjust position offset on the main window for you :-)

From what I can tell your printer isnt liking the custom size. Is the size under the printer supported ones? The ones that says printer supported are the ones that windows reports that the printer can handle.

To use custom sizes it all depends on the printer driver itself on if it will work. At the bottom of the window you will see it says you have to use the post script printer drivers in order to use the custom size. Since you changed OS, your printer driver also changed.

For me it was the nearest one I could find to fit an envelope size 220mm x 110mm although I'd used the previous version of the program to print onto the same size envelope - but couldn't find the size this time and that one seemed to be the nearest and just used a sheet of A4 to test.

Previously I didn't need a Sender's address.
