Repair won't start

My operating system is Vista 64. I followed all the instructions and when it was time to run the Repair it wouldn't start. I was in safe mode and 5 times it wouldn't start. The message indicated somethiung was stopping it from starting. In safe mode there's not very many programs open to stop it. Any suggestions?

Have you tried reinstalling the program and can you check Event Viewer for time stamped errors for when you were trying to start the program.

Will any other programs start in Safe Mode ?
