Hi, Normally latest adobe flash player will play streaming videos or saved streaming videos from websites to play clearly.All other sites do not have any problem in playing video correctly. But this particular website, plays video, but there appears to be out of sync with video and audio. These could not be played by another player in our browsers.
I tried the hotstar site, which allows you to view saved tv shows. I am having 8mpbs speed with my new plan. But still this problem exist. i tried so much fixes and changed dns to local place from google dns, but still the problem is there. The video is playing as if it is gripped and released. Audio no problem.
I am having the latest drivers, and there is no problem in playing you tube or other site videos, like zee tv shows. There it plays perfectly.
Sometimes, i could see buffering with this speed on this specific site. I contacted but they could not give a correct fix

The host site server could be overloaded with many users at the same time and unable to cope with the volume of traffic.

Hi, But it was a old saved tv show on the website, which would not attract that much traffic

But the server is delivering more than just that 1 show to you, possibly hundreds or more of other shows to many people at the same time.

Hi,
But the other websites would also be showing like that.
What other reasons would be? I am having high speed plan and has not reached the FUP .

I tried to right click and select on the page, and saw the Hardware acceleration is enabled there in the adobe flash payer settings.
There is nothing other than this settings, to change.
I tried zee and it is fine without any out of sync.

Can you ping that website to check the Latency compared to the other websites.

If you get Time outs then the sites may be blocking to avoid Denial of Service attacks.

As you don't have any problems with other websites then it may not be a WMP problem, but see if there's any improvement when you use VLC as the default program instead of WMP.

Hi, Boggins,
I am having vlc , and supported menus in my version. But this could not be played in vlc media player. It does show blank when you select open network and supplies the url and click play. It does not show any media information as well. Is there any software that would accomplish this. Pl reply
Moreover the video in between the bar contains adv tracks of small duration. It does not allow any download as well.
I am having the latest vlc media player. Is there any free alternative , that could play website saved videos? I will do the ping test for this and inform

If it doesn't allow you to save the download, I'm not aware of anything that would allow you to do it.

To offset the buffering, when you start to play, click on Pause for a couple of mins or so and then see if it plays in sync.

Is your Internet cache cleared and have you tried in different browsers ?

I have tried in all the browsers, the same effect .
i know that i could not download . But even playing is not possible by my vlc, and winxhd . Winx hd player captures the video, but not playing it and shows the convert screen. If you select , then video stops with error. In vlc media player , i could not see any video in my vlc view

Hotstar uses Flash player only, not even HTML5 so you cannot use another media player.

You can download shows/ films etc and watch offline using the Hotstar app.

Hi, Only few programs are allowed. They say. That will be noted as contributory in the video. Video plays but , a kind of gripping and letting....As if so much persons are gripping the video for seconds and then letting for a second. Sometimes, it is buffering..This was not a problem in zee tv shows and other tv shows. Even online tv shows play pucca without any problem. Boggins of idea of using vlc does not work. It does not show even the video audia information. If winxd dvd is used, it analyse and shows the video file name, but with 0 bytes.

Again, the live streaming requires Flash Player, VLC etc will not work. Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in Flash, usually the first place to try and fix Flash issues.

More likely that this is a bandwidth issue, given the buffering, either for your connection speed and/ or their server's delivery. It is unlikely that free users are afforded the same speed as premium users who are paying for the service. Contention, with a high number of users (free) would increase this, have you tried at "off peak"/ different times of day.

Hi, Their team never expressed anything, but want to give the marks on the grievance attended. I left at that stage. I tried your fix of disabling the acceleration and tried low, medium settings. Nothing works. The team would have been working still or left the query at that without any reply. I just tried all the tricks but i do not think flash player issue. As you correctly pointed out, that there is a glitch or hitch to be corrected at their end.
Would upload speed have anything on this. I do not think so. because it is uploading as well as downloading while streaming? But this is not a problem with other sites.

The latest Flash update has been problematic for a lot of users.

You could try the latest Beta: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashruntimes/flashplayer/

Or the last of the ESR versions (v. 18.x from last month): https://forums.adobe.com/thread/889580

I would also recommend that you use the Flash uninstaller before switching Flash versions, and again each time you make a version change: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315

Os win 7 ultimate, browser latest firefox.
Pl see that the out of sync problem is experienced in only one site. If it is a flash player exe, would not all sites have this problem.

It's unlikely that it's 'just' = purely a Flash problem, much more like a combination of factors (site delivery, networking protocols/routing, Flash version and 'sandboxing', browser/version, security software, OS patch level, ... ), which is what troubleshooting via a process of elimination is intended to pinpoint.

I came across pathping command. It does something, but the result could not be analysed, as it contains tech and percentages.
Moreover, i could not send the ip nos for security reasons. It gives trace route, and then computing the route step by step in seconds .
I really think that people only watch the latest episode and so they would not have raised this issue. But i have tried saved streaming videos of tv shows, which takes time to load and then gives this problem. They are still at it. No solution yet
