I am furious with the software.

The software killed my age of empires II game. It also after uninstalling the software, still resets default software. How do I get rid of all of the software? I am furious that I can't play my age of empires II.

I don't play any games and not sure if using the registry restore would get you back.

Did you leave repairs 27 unchecked as I believe MS had changed things where those repairs weren't working as they should, so Shane left them default unchecked.

Boot into Safe Mode with Networking and open Windows Repair - click on Backup Tools then click on Restore under Registry Backup.

Click on Registry Restore then use the dropdown to select the auto back up then click on Restore Now.

Never mind. I did a reinstall of win 10.It is a pain but I had several problems to deal with and this approach solves them.

I would have tried a repair install first rather than going to the extreme of a clean install.

A repair install doesn't affect your personal stuff or installed 3rd party programs.
