Hi Shane i have attached a Processes screen shot, does this look ok?

Avast takes the most?

It is the XP machine

Looks fine. In fact compared to most Antiviruses Avast uses the least amount of memory and 32mb of memory is dang good :-)

Looks good. The less processes running the better the system will behave :-)

Hi, Shane but what about the log files . The avast create so many number of log files. If i choose to search the files for today , then the explorer opens and most of the files relate to the log files created by the avast antivirus.
