Trying to install .Net Framework 4.0 Error 643 in Windows Update

No I downloaded a disc but I did however purchase a large enough usb drive to do the slipstream operation... Think I should give that a go?

Does the disk you downloaded have SP1 on it?

Yes Windows Home 32 and 64 SP1 and Windows Ultimate 32 and 64 SP1

I have a feeling they where slipstreamed in. Reading the page it says you cant use a slipstream one.

You need to get your hands on a 64 bit ultimate with SP1 already on it, an untouched one from MS. :wink:
