REPAIR REGISTRY PERMISSIONS

I may have lead you astray a bit with some of my screen shots.

What I've been posting are shots of the results when I right click on a random properties subfolder.

I'm sending you a shot of the result of my right clicking on a subfolder only.

tweakyman:
Yes Shane, I have a full admin account, and no guest account.

Are you familiar with a program called D7? It is a technician's tool and has repair permissions set into it, but the end result is exactly the same.

tweakyman:
BTW, would there be any chance you could do remote assistance on my machine?

Just a thought.

Allan

Shane:
*slap* lol

Ok that makes much more sense. :cheesy:

Now that I better understand, I checked my system at each properties folder. Mine are also blocked. Looks like your just fine bud. Windows keeps those keys locked.

I was taking the word properties and thinking properties of the regkey not the folder name properties.

My fault on that one

Shane

tweakyman:
Lol I don't fully understand.

Does this mean my registry isn't screwed at all then?

Allan
