Rick:
Shane, what is the CACLS command to reset permissions on the C: to administrator to full

TIA

Shane:
My reset file permissions tool will do that for you. :-)

If you wanted more control you would use

cacls C:\ /E /C /G Administrator:f

Another major URGENT Problem with Windows;

System Failure = Hard Drive Failure"

Trying to use Minitool or any drive copy with DIRTY FLAGS marked on the disks does not enable the drive to be copied.

lets assume, it's dirty, so what, we can copy and do chkdsk again on the new hard drive right? I need some help to resolve what this guys was reffering at this link posted in order to do just that. Remove the dirty flag to enable partition copying...

Need help with or program code examples to complete the task. actually, everyone does!

Shane:
So your using ubuntu to try and copy the files.

I answered your other post on copying files, try to keep things to one thread if possible so I dont get mixed up lol

That link you sent means to open a terminal window and run the command there. But you can also try my 7-zip trick as well that I answered in your other post.
