Windows 7 vs 8
Shane:
Stick with 7, it isnt going any where for a few years.
You only need Pro if your connecting to a domain, home premium will be fine for you.
Pretend 8 doesn't exists. 9 will be out in 2 years or so anyways lol

Hi Shane thank you
1. Because i am only on Dial Up, new laptop computers don't support dial up. but i do have another computer that i will be using for online.
Can i download Drivers, Windows 7 updates etc onto a flash drive and load it on the new computer and load offline?
Thanks again
Shane:
Yes you can, but on dial up you are looking at a long download time as some drivers can be in the hundreds of MB.

Thanks Shane
I have done Windows Updates on Dial up but not any driver updates.
Is it easy to do, specially the Windows updates?
Is there a link to how to do this, or briefly can you tell me?
Thanks again
Shane:
All depends on which system you get bud.
