Google Chrome message (pages unresponsive)

Hi i am getting this message box "pages unresponsive" do i want to wait or kill pages, quite often.

I am on Dialup,

Is there any settings that will improve Google Chrome with dialup?

Not that I know of, it wasnt meant to run on dial up. So what is happening is the page is waiting for things to finish downloading, like a java script or css file :wink:
