Reset File Permissions 1.9.14 AIO Repair

Hi when running the AIO version 1.9.14 the computer comes to a stand still, well absolutely snail pace on Reset File Permissions number 2 (sorry didn't see which one).

Sometimes this has gone through but most of the time doesn't get past this stage.

It seems when i don't disengage Avast it seems to go though most of the time.

How many times are you running the tool on your system? Remember I told you before that you only need to run it when something is broken, it isnt a maintenance program :wink:

Unless you have file permissions problems you dont need to run that repair again.

Basically when the performance drops/slows.
Running this program still remains to increase performance when it drops off.

Yep something must be broken on a regular basis cause the program remains to improve performance.

What does the file permissions actually do, and also how does the computer misbehave when file permissions are broken so to speak?

File permissions just sets permissions and nothing else, so you can skip it unless you think your permissions are getting messed up.

As for why your computer runs fast after running I dont know but I happy to hear that it does lol
