a fast and best copying software at that

It is always a painful job if you have to copy number of large files thro normal copying .It kills your time and if there are errors on some of the files then it becomes one of your toughest task.
If it stops in the middle, we do not know , it already copied from which folder and whether it copied it fully or not. It is also slow and particularly if it is external device like memory card , it copies in lesser speed.
To over come these difficulties, i suggest you could try TERA copy software, which is free for home user but which supports larger files copying. Please download the same from the link i give below and then execute it with simple clicks. Your problem is over.
First  open the tera copy software, go to the file or folder which you want to copy and then just drag that in to the source file box, the upper box, and you may now see all the files in the folders show in the open box at the menu. Then select either copy to or move to and then select browse and choose the destination place  folder or drive, it will be copied in lightning speed. It will not stop if there is an error file, it just by passes it to copy the other files. It is very useful and every one must have it for larger file copying.

The Bottom line is "Check your hardware first if it supports the task you try".
