Windows 7 slow Boot up

How many programs are running shown in the task manager after you boot up?

Hello Shane,
I have another problem when i click on IE9 the window opens and it says Intenet Explorer cannot display web page.( or any page ).Can you help please.

That could be any number of reasons, do you have any trouble with firefox or chrome or is it just IE?

And have you tried installing IE 11 instead of using 9?

Never tried Firefox,Chrome ok.Will have a look at IE11.

Update on my last reply.I have found a  programme Bitdefender Total security which i thought i had uninstalled with a download called  Your Uninstaller. It uninstalls it completly but Bitdefender keeps coming back into the listed programmes in Your uninstaller.I have tried uninstalling Bitdefender with CCleaner pro but when i click on the key to uninstall nothing happens.The key does not function.The same thing happens in Windows add/remove programmes.Would be very grateful for your advice.
