Holy crap my man lol The amount of things broken on your system is crazy and I am impressed the system is still running!
To be totally honest a fresh install would be the best for you. Back up your data and if you do a fresh install make sure to destroy the partition and recreate it in the windows setup, this way if you had any kind of boot record virus it would get destroyed.
If my customer came to me with your machine a fresh install is the fastest and best way to get you working back to normal again. You dont just have one problem you have tons!

it might seam strange to you but I am enjoying working through the problems , also I have some programs that cant be replaced with a new install , dont have the disc any more and its required in movie process
I have located all the miniport s in regeded and removed then , the device manager is now clean
The audio is turned on in the service but stll the audio device is not turned on, thats a mistory
I thinnk a problem is somehow tied up with who is the admistrator do alow a update .
the computer shows I and a administrator on bootup now and there are two different desktop arrangements ,,,this could be a throw back from a few years ago when I had two different version running on two drives, that was a advice from windows to cure a another problem a fresh install , then remove the old windows .
There is no evedence of the old windows on the other drive now , so maby thats only a assumption of mine
so now having what apears to be two different operators and the same faults are on both log-ons could one be effecting the other ??
I hate windws 8 so at this stage thats not a option ,,, will play about , its still operational anyway just a few hickups

The repair install would allow you to keep your programs, but isnt guaranteed.
And I agree it is more fun to try and fix things. Every problem I have come across I have refused to give up on, after 18 years you get a lot of experience that way lol
But the problem is I dont have the machine in front of me to look and work on things. So with the large amount of problems you have I dont think you will be able to get it 100% again but you can definitely get it workable.
Problem is, helping over a forum I dont know what the next best thing for you to try is lol
