New Computer Recommendation?

Snowyolddog:
Ahh Thank you... This helps!  At this point I think anything would be an upgrade, even if its not  a recent model. I believe we still have 128 ram?
Thank you very much!
Cheers!

Shane:
Ram is memory, no one was 128 gb, you might be thinking the hard drive.

If you like tell me if you have a costco or anything by you or give me a website of a store you have by you and I will look at what they have and give you some options.

Let me know if you want a laptop or tower :-)

Shane

Snowyolddog:
We are looking for a tower.   Actually upgrade our monitor as well.
Hubby needs to use Autosketch 10, which we are learning is not easily compatible with windows 8.
I want to do graphic work, cards, photos, writings and some accounting stuff.  I store a lot of photos, and documents. Would liike to do a print workshop or such for labels and tags etc.
Yep, sorry, my blonde roots are showing...128 hard drive.  Is that an antique now? <S>
No costco here, Best Buys, Staples
Thank you!

Shane:
I never buy parts form a store, because you pay the middle man fee.

Example, a 100 foot network cable at staples is anywhere from $100 to $150 dollars. On newegg.com I can get a 100 foot cable for $15.

So I buy all my stuff on newegg.com

Never bought a premade system but I get monitors, parts, everything from there.

What is the price range you are looking at spending?

Shane

Snowyolddog:
Is newegg reliable?  I saw some reviews that they had poor customer service.  ??   Looking to spend  hopefully $700 each.  More if it will be a reliable long lasting  easy to use  etc etc model.    23 inch monitor preferred.
Again  at this point anything will be an upgrade, but we want to  have a system that will stay in the flow and not be obsolete in a few years.   If that makes sense? Smiles
