It must have given the error since vss failed. Is vss is having problems on your system just have the program always use the fall back method instead :-)

Yes it is fine.

If you have the program set to always use the fall back method it will skip using vss, which is a lot faster than waiting for vss.

The VSS Service can be a REAL "pain in the *ss". And sometimes even Windows Repair can't/won't fix VSS. A tool that ALWAYS works is a VSS fix tool from Macrium:

Then you can untick "Always use fallback method" in RB  v1.90, as well.

Yes, but in the next version of WR that wont be a problem any more since I found out that the order the repair is done makes a difference and so now WR fixes vss better :-)
