Hi!

Need some help if you can add some fix re Windows Media Player that has an error message when i am trying to watch a movie, it has "Class not registered".  I tried this tweaking.com but it never fix the issue.  I also tried to ran both inside windows and on safe mode the sfc scannow now but it didn't fix as well.

To date, I am using VLC media player as substitute.

There's a troubleshooting that should be done but i guess it very complex to do it so i am requesting if it can add on your tweaking.com and i am more than happy if you can add fix on it.

Your usual help is highly appreciated

Yours truly,
Ronald

btw, i am using windows 7 SP1

Running a sfc /scannow as an admin from the command prompt should fix that.

it didn't fix that as well.  i usually ran sfc as admin.. still got the same problem.

Boggin:
Sometimes opening the command prompt as an admin and entering regsvr32 quartz.dll can do it but give this a try if that doesn't do it http://www.thewindowsclub.com/repair-windows-media-player-with-fix-wmp-utility

Edit - Forgot to add that using your Restore Points back to when it was working could also help, especially if this has just occurred following a download of anything else.
