I can not save notepad file (txt)

good afternoon

The notepad opens normally, but when I save by choosing Save or Save As, the file generated is not saved, staying open. There is no error message.

Grateful for the attention!

Where are you saving it to? And after you save it do you go and see if the file was created and if it was or already was, did you open it to see if the save took?

The only time I have ever had a problem with saving a file with notepad was if the file was in use or notepad didnt have permission. But normally those would give an error.

A thousand apologies to you and to this forum ... I do not know how happened ..

Found out I was leaving, when you save the file, the extension (txt), along with the file name.
