(I hope thanks to me) in the april issue of a dutch computer magazine Windows Repair was brought to the attention of the readers of that magazine. Did the download traffic go up in late march and april ? Did register more traffic from the Netherlands ?

Shane:
Not sure, I will have to check.

Some one did email a pdf of the magazine though, but it was in English and from the UK.

Awesome to see my work in magazines!! :cheesy:

When I Googled the words ""Windows Repair"" today, I came across this:
http://trojan-killer.net/windows-repair-rogue-how-to-remove-windows-repair-virus/

Shane:
Yeah I have seen that to.

If you look at the date on the page

It was from a year ago, which means that virus is even older. And I havent seen it around any more either.

I released "Tweaking.com - Windows Repair" late last year, started tweaking.com at the end of Aug 2011.

I should have researched the name a little better lol

But my goal with any of my program names is to get to the point of what the program is for. Thats why every program has "Tweaking.com -" in the title and is part of the name

About post #1 in this thread: The computer magazine was for computer users, not geeks or techies. The magazine rates programs/tweaks/tips from 1 (easy, suitable for beginners) up to 5 (Expert level). And Windows Repair was rated 5 (=expert level).
