Still not repaired the windows update error code 80245001

It shows a lot of files it needs are missing from where they should be to restore from. Doing the offline sfc might do the trick.

Ok, thanks guys... I shall give it a try... I guess there is no much of choice is left for me. Shall inform accordingly when done! I guess I should not trust my Wise Care 365 software either as it suggested to delete those sample files and it supposed to be safe.

If that doesnt work then you can do a repair install (instead of a fresh install) which will let you keep all your files. :wink:

You will need a Windows 7 disk that already has SP2 on it, if you need one you can download the cd image from here

From my links he should already have created the Win 7 bootable disk.
Win 7 only goes up to SP1 - were you thinking of the other thread dealing with Vista :smiley:
