It could have been updated since you last used it ?

This Toshiba laptop started to run at around the 56C mark even though I give it a regular blow out, so I installed it onto here and it seems to keep the Max. down by 2 or 3 degress.

You could always give it a try and dump it if it doesn't improve the temps.

It was heat that was causing it, but the new drivers can handle the clock and voltage of the video and cpu, lowering it when needed and better controlling the temp of it. They also do this to help improve battery life, and as you see even performance itself.

So while the fan help keep things cool and stop freezing the updated drivers better handle the voltage and clock speeds keeping the heat from climbing so high. :wink:

I could have sworn it only worked on desktop fans though, I use to always get it but then I found out It does nothing for me.
