Current repair has failed to start 4 times.

Lynchie:
A newbie to the Windows Repair 3 software. My laptop is running Windows 8.1. I started from scratch and ran the programme. Every time I checked it seemed to be running nicely. Then I got the following message: "The current repair has failed to start 4 times.
Something is keeping the repair from running.
Tweaking_ras.exe in the files folder is used to run the repairs under the system account, make sure your Antivirus isnt blocking it."

As far as I could make it, my antivirus setup - Kaspersky Security 15.02 - isn't blocking the Windows Repair programme. Can anyone help?

Willy2:
Try this:
- Disconnect from the internet, (temporarily) disable your antivirus and run the program. Restart you system and (automatically) enable your antivirus again before connecting to the internet (again).
- Do you know which repair failed to run ?

Thank you very much - your advice worked, Willy. Restarted Windows Repair after disabling Anti Virus and restarting. It ran straight through the 37 repairs in about 45 minutes or so. Previously, it stalled at #17 of 37. Below is the relevant (I hope!) part of the 1st (failed) repair log:

Willy2:
- Can you post here the entire log (as an attachment) ? I am curious why it took 45 minutes to complete all repairs.
- I think this advice (Disconnect internet, (temporarily) disable anti virus) should be given more emphasis in the program.
- You need to restart Windows anyway because only then EVERY change made by "Windows Repair" will become effective.

Lynchie:
The attached text file is the completed repair log (the one which was successful). I hope it's what you were asking for. Regards, Graeme
Ps - Thanks again for your help.
