Hi, thanks in advance for the help. I have several Windows updates that have failed repeatedly for months. I have followed the Microsoft recommended fixes for failed windows updates (sfc), but nothing has helped. Failed updates are: Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based systems: KB3003743, KB3011780, KB3033929, KB3335131 for starters, the log below tells the story.

Those files are most likly the reason the updates are not installing.
I am working on a new tool to add to the pre scan to download the missing or corrupt files and put them back. I am going to need a few testers for it to make sure it downloads the files and applys them fine.
Do you want to help me with that? Just means that when I have the new tool done I have you run it and see how it does.
If not that is ok if you dont want to. All we need to do is get a good copy of these files and put them back. My goal with the new tool is to take as much work out of the users hands as possible.

I am game to give it a try. I think the only other solution I have left is a non-destructive re-installation of windows. What is your time frame on the new tool?

Copy the files to another folder; then delete them, try update again...

I have over 35,000 files added to my server, all cat and mum files and I have the code to add the cat files into the windows catalog database.
Now I just need to make the tool to download the files and such. Not sure on time frame just yet, hoping next week :-)
