missing file problem

I have process explorer but have not been able to determin whats causing the problem. It only occurs after first start up of a morning. If after it has ran it's course,I can shut down -restart and the problem does not re-occur,

What security programs do you have installed ?

MSE, Super anti spyware pro. Using virgin fire wall after turning off microsofts to see if that made any difference but did not.

Sounds like you have a 3rd party program causing the problem. Have you done a clean boot to see if it speeds things up? If it does then you know it is a 3rd party program doing it. :wink:

Is SAS set to scan on boot or any monitoring - check its Settings.

Have you ran another sfc /scannow since copying those Packages files across to see if now reports no integrity violations ?
