 :omg: "some vendors" = convicted multinational corporations, and what about PRISM? Google supply data to the NSA, GCHQ etc. Do you trust all these organisations to not misuse your personal information and keep it safe? In the US, Federal Government recently got hacked by China, so you can bet your bottom dollar that they are/ have tried to hack all other large corporations, government departments and NGOs. So all your personal data could be on a huge database in China!

Google results are filtered based on your previous searches and surfing destinations, so as a result you do not "get all the things you want", you get all the things that Google thinks that you want.

For me I really do not care very much for the Google search engine I have not put anything for family or friends stuff in my computer or both,
Do not forget that the Google search engine is full of place to get the infection very quickly! If you are using the older version of the browsers then exposed to all kinds of security risks will be ....

I myself i hate Google search engine ! lol but i had to use it ! :wink:

thank but they have an duckduckgo extension for web browser ? so what you think ? do i need to install them ?

If you are using FF you can just select it from the search bar drop down menu, no need to install anything. Or bookmark the link and ue it from there.
