*** NEW Program Idea: System Drivers Backup & Restore

I looked long and hard to find a program to backup and restore the driver files on my system, only to understand the program are all crap, in that none of them really work worth a darn when it counts, because they restore files as corrupted and unusable, or haven't been updated to work well with newer Windows versions.

Thats because it is very hard to backup all the proper files. For instance I had a driver that had extra files that had to be int he inf folder, even though it wasnt an inf file.

While programs can look at what windows reports as the drivers installed, it doesnt list them all and most programs cant read the inf files right to grab the data.

There is simply to many unknown variables with so many different drivers. :wink:
