let the acl 3 crash it will post in the event log just continue with the repairs..

OK done. It is continuing. It is on repair MSI.

I'm wondering you are using windows 7 64 bit correct?

Oh for crying out loud! Acl 3 crashed again. I let it crash and it is continuing. Oh and yes, I am.

Tacotardis42:
Ok repairs done. Should I reboot to safe mode again, and run the repairs, or reboot to normal and try to check Win update again? Update: To heck with it, I'm rebooting to normal and checking updates.
