Ollder is new to the forum and may not be aware that Shane only covers the forum Mon-Fri and that Shane's advice is the only authoritative advice on here - so no, it wasn't a pointless post.

Correct, it is always good to let users know that so they dont think they are being ignored :-)

Ollder, when you ran my windows repair did you make sure to run it in safe mode and to run all the repairs?

Yes, I did the whole process in safe mode and run all the repairs automatically selected. Did not make any own selections.
