System Restore points silently disappear

I have two manual restore points and two from windows update as of right now.
I was away for a few days, so this system was off during that time.
I will be watching it.

I am going to declare this issue resolved. 
I just checked and my restore points are staying around, both the manual ones I created about 2 weeks ago and some windows updates I took.

So I am surprised.  After all this, gee whiz.
