I suppose the simple answer is to just use IE when you get that error message.

As you have gone through FF's troubleshooting steps, I don't know what else to suggest - I just know that my FF works in its basic form.

Win 7 x64 Home Premium and no, I don't have XP - why do you ask ?

Because I do not have any problems with my connection on xp/ and no websites problem either with my old xp ! that’s what I notice since I move to a new windows OS using my other laptop’s
