d-ash-es type on th-eir own wh-en I type certain letters

Wh-e I type an h- or a d--------  d-ash-es start appearing.
Exclamation point not working, but 1 is.
D-ash-and- h-ypeh-n not working eith-er.
I ha-ve run every malware i could- th-ink of. Some infected- files were found------ but to no avail.
Also upd-ated- keboard- d-river many times.
Wh-en I log in, a series of period-s appear, and- I d-elete and-- d-elete th-em until I can log in.
I am using an LG laptop, with- Windo-ws 7.
Th-e problem appears in Moz-illa and- IE as well.
Wh-at to d-o now?

First thing to do is to find out if it is the keyboard or not.

Do you have an USB keyboard you could plug in and test with?

No, I do not have a  USB keyboard.
But possibly could borrow.
What would be plan B?
Could I somehow hook up my mini lap top (using now) to the LG and check it out that way?
Just a thought...

See if you could borrow a usb keyboard. only need it for 5 min.

If using the USB keyboard and it doesnt have the problem then we know it is the keyboard on your laptop that needs replaced.

If it still has the problem even with the USB keyboard then we know it is a settings in Windows we need to change :wink:
