Windows 10 Refuses to boot to Desktop after over 2hrs of hard disk activity

Hi.

The above issue just happened after less than 1 month of my upgrading from win 8.1 to 10. Everything was going smoothly until yesterday when I restarted.

Now, can I use the stand-alone version of your utility to attempt to correct this problem? I also don't have a windows 10 repair disk, but I have a win 7 repair disk and a windows 8 installation CD.

When you say refuses to boot to desktop can you give me a description of what displays on the screen?
 or a snap shot is better. :) I want to help you further diagnose this and get you on your way.
Can you see the windows boot splash logo when you start up (windows symbol should be a teal blue color).
