Hi -
New to the Forum.  How do we go about this?  I have attached the second run log of Windows Repair Pre-Scan where I picked up a second error.  The first run only showed 1 reparse file error.  The second run shows an additional Windows Packages File error.  I also performed a registry scan with CCleaner after the repairs and found the following errors (it was clean prior to scan) shown in the attached image file.  - Art

I found the file for you in the missing cat file and uploaded them here is a quote from  one of Shane's previous posts on another thread about the steps to take to apply these files.

First grab the zip file off this page and apply the reg file it in to add the take owner ship to the right click menu in explorer.

Once that is done go to C:\Windows\servicing\ and right click on Packages and click on take ownership. You will now be able to copy the files into that folder.

I have attached the missing files, extract the files out of the attached zip file and put them in the C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\ folder.

Then run my pre-scan again, put a check on the box to have it add the cat files back to the database.

I should have told you that I have Hidden Certain Updates.  Does this change anything regarding these errors?  They are shown in the attached image.  I will wait to hear your advise before I continue ... don't want to make things worse.  In fact, I'm going to run WR once more, as I have recently accepted 2 updates regarding Update Client that I have had blocked.  I will post the results In my next post (in a little while).  However, the posted image file of Hidden Updates is current.   The whole purpose of this was to remain free of all Win 10-like tracking or prep files.  - Art

OK Julian -
I installed 2 Windows Update Client updates that were hidden.  My current hidden updates are shown in the attached image file.  I have also attached my last Pre-scan log after attempting repairs post Windows Update Client installs.  I don't think much has changed, but I'll wait for your go-ahead to do anything beyond this.  One BIG question that I have about Windows Repair ... does it open the gates for Win 10 upgrade nags, or anything related to Win 10?  I have noticed that after running WR that my Windows Update History is deleted every time I run it.  Afterward, I have to run an Windows Update and re-hide my previously Hidden Updates.  Should it do that?  There is no mention of that within the WR Program.  - Art
