The problem occurs in Windows Media Player.
It is very irritating problem that can not be easily eliminated example: When a HDD contains many small files OR/AND very  large HDDs.

Windows Hotfix - does not help
CHKDSK - does not help
I checked Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate (identical problem)
SFC /scannow - does not help
