Repairing broken apps in Windows 10 Bug.

Unfortunately, I ran the command that made all the apps not work anymore before I saw this posting.  I went to run the "all in One" repair tool to fix it and saw the message display in that window.

Is there any way to bring the apps back?  I tried taking the "Get-App" command for shellexperience and changing it for other apps and it did not work.

Only way as of right now is to do a refresh in Windows. I am still really surprised that this bug is still there after all this time and there hasnt been a word from MS.

I agree with you entirely, about the absence of any reaction from Microsoft to this issue since November. I have been hoping for a fix this month ie. January. There seems to be no sign of it, in fact I have discovered another problem which may be related, the freezing of the link to Windows Gadgets in the Control Panel and my inability to install new Gadgets.

windows 10 version 1511 (10586.71) Still not fixed.....

Hi, It seems that microsoft has the knack of making auto updates to upgrade all the system to windows 10, which has so much bugs, especially for older machines. As one says the window updates are still coming for windows 7. I think windows 7 for sometime is the best choice.
wherever i browse, the forums are full of questions on this OS, with no solutions given on most of the problem.
My question to Julian! Will the machines that do not have requirements also would be auto upgraded to windows 10 or that would not be alerted by its auto scan ability
