Resource-hogging Windows service makes laptop almost useless.

Yes, it looks like MS want to control everyone's computers as well.

MS has however provisioned Win 10 to be set to a metered connection but just for wireless to control the updates as some were maxing out user's allowances which resulted in a lot of complaints, but this cannot be set for a wired connection.
