Black screen after download

Hi guys, I went to download the repair and it popped up and asked if i wanted to go into safe mode (recommended) I clicked yes and now all ihave is a black screen for the last half hour. I'd really like to get out of this, even tried hard shut down and nothing. I'm now typing this on a different computer. HELP!

Which version of Windows are you using and do you have either a System Repair or Install disk that you can boot up with ?

Shane:
Is there anything on the screen at all? A mouse cursor? Or even a blinking cursor in the upper corner? Do you have any external drives plugged in?
