How to Fix sxs.dll Error ?

Make sure that the file Sxs.dll is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.

Have you tried your restore points to prior the error and have you checked Event Viewer for time stamped Event IDs which could give the reason for the corruption.

The error occurs since the beginning of the installation of Windows, so nothing can be restored !!!

Boggin:
It can relate to another program, so what else have you installed - or did it occur immediately after the install ?

What way is it affecting the computer and does Event Viewer or Reliability history have anything for it.

You could try a Repair install should the first one been a bad one.
