Bug running Windows Repair in silent mode [Solved]

<< < (2/2)

Julian:
same I can't reproduce this bug...  do you have this set as an environment variable?

AlexC:
Hi,

i've just run it from a elevated CMD with the "-silent" argument.

Apparently the  common factor is that it will stop at repair nº 7 (Repair Internet Explorer), when using a x32 Windows edition.

Please try this, in Windows 7 x32:
- download and extract the portable version of Windows Repair;
- run CMD as administrator (right click, "run as administrator");
- navigate to Windows Repair directory through CMD;
- run "Repair_Windows.exe -silent"

Thanks for the follow up!

AlexC:
Hi,

i think found what was the problem.

When i run "Windows_Repair.exe -silent" through cmd, normally i'll leave that cmd windows opened.

Windows Repair will stop in the repair nº 7, if i leave the cmd window that i used to execute "Windows_Repair.exe -silent" opened.

If i close it after i run the command (or even when it's stopped in the repair nº 7), everything works fine, and Windows Repair runs will until the end.

Thanks!
