"Web page does not respond because of a long-acting script"
makinero:
--- Code: ---Web page does not respond because of a long-acting script.
--- End code ---
Click:
--- Code: ---Stop execution of the script.
--- End code ---
So I do it but for the moment again shows this information, so again try to stop but it still does not respond, and this happens on random pages.
Cannot also refresh the page (F5)
How to automatically stop the script (or shorten its operation), which runs in an endless loop or otherwise is slower ? ?
It also happens when the script I ALSO crashes this process consumes more RAM or CPU.
Eg. One proces/one tab uses 600-1000+ MB of RAM!
Boggin:
Have you tried installing an ad blocker such as Adblock Plus ?
https://adblockplus.org/
makinero:
All kinds of "AdBlock" is overrated add-on. Yes, but this add-on is causing problems (e.g. or to stop the display of materials due to on Ad-Block (protection on the page))
but not only . . blocks also many good websites and website " buttons" and not blocking in most ads.
Boggin:
What problems is it causing ?
It's very rare that I get the long running script error since installing Adblock Plus.
It doesn't block all ads as I believe companies have made a deal with Adblock to allow some and I've had to whitelist one website because some info is dynamic which Adlbock would otherwise block.
makinero:
You know, I limit the installation of add-ons, do not check it very well - if I use too many open pages(tabs) (although not all loaded in memory)
