Optoboy:
I paid the $39.95 for the Reimage package thinking it was tweaking.com and now feel really deceived and pissed. What's more, they promised it would fix my Windows Update problem and it hasn't, and,  they loaded a ton of crap on my system that's slowed it to a crawl.

Shane:
I am just as pissed.

It is one thing to have an advertisement. it is another thing to make their page look like mine and fool my users.

I have already sent of an email chewing people out over it. They will change it or I will drop them.

Remove their program and see if you can get your money back.

Once theirs is gone this is my FREE repair tool
http://www.tweaking.com/content/page/windows_repair_all_in_one.html

You will see the download buttons a little down the page.
No extra crap gets installed with my stuff :-)

Optoboy:
Alright I'll give it a shot and let you know. Thanks.

Optoboy:
FYI...I've petitioned reimage for a refund and they're begging me not to cancel and promising me they can fix my problem, eventually. I've declined and deleted their tool and downloaded/ran yours. It worked for 59 of the 61 updates but was unable to fix the remaining 2 which are MS.NetFramework issues. I am curious if you have or know of a fix? And last, when/if I get my refund and you are able to fix the 2 remaining problems, I will donate the fee from reimage to you.

Shane:
I hate .net lol this is why I still program in VB6 and not VB .net lol

The trick with .net is you need to completely remove it and install new. This has worked for me every time.

Use this removal tool
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/08/28/8904493.aspx

Then reboot and reinstall .net

That should get you fixed
